      The year was 1985.

      Player A was Vince Coleman:

      Player B was Tom Browning:

Coleman won the ROY, basically because he had 110 SB's. Lost in that rookie record, was the fact he was CS a league leading 25 times, and only scored 107 runs batting leadoff for the NL champs. How do you steal 110 bases and only score 107 runs? His abysmal .655 OPS did not help (it would drop to .581 the next season, a season that saw him hit 21 EXB in 670 plate appearances. Yuk!),

Browning, meanwhile, was a workhorse, throwing 261 innings in 38 starts (6 CG's, 4 SHO), and of course winning 20 games.

Coleman is easily one on of the most overrated players of his era. His lifetime OPS comes in at .668, with the ability to do nothing well aside from steal bases.
