    Running-Game Killers: Pitchers

I'm surprised Aroldis Chapman isn't listed. He has a bunch of pickoffs and I don't recall any steal off of him. Perhaps its just starters.

And Ted Lilly tops out at roughly 58 mph, so I can see why he'd be easy to steal off of.

One more stat that shows Jordan Zimmermann is legit
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

I remember Greg Maddux was always among the worst pitchers at holding runners. I found that to be odd.

          Lack of experience?

Some guys don't really care. Outside of Mark Buehrle most of the White Sox are instructed to just ignore the runners and worry about the batter.

Thats because even if they try to hold the runner on, Pierzynski can't throw baserunners out anyway.

Why is Buehrle not included in this team philosiphy?

He's quietly having a damn good year. He's my favorite non-Reds player of all time.
