    Scouting Minor League MVPs

LOL at Ian Gac. Terrible name, and 27 in high-A. Just a big LOL.

I know quite a few guys that just couldn't make it past a certain level.

Sooner or later, they get old and realize their dream is over...some don't though. At least this guy is succeeding on some level on whatever level he is playing at.

We used to have a Class A-Short Season team in my hometown...and you'd see guys that would shoot up quickly, but you'd sometimes see guys there for the full two seasons, then would take years to get to A-Advanced and just kind of stay there. A lot of these guys, at a certain point, go to the Indy leagues and rot for a long time, never giving up on the dream.

Yeah a HS teammate of mine is in the Braves system, had a few at bats in AA at the end of last season but he had to repeat high-A for the third time this year. He's 23, so he's starting to get to that "shit or get off the pot" point.

I hope he can make it to the show one day as a speedy 4th outfielder but he's not getting any younger.
