Cuddyer had nice numbers last year on a shitty team. If you can get Sizemore cheap take a shot. He could be a HUGE steal

I really think our next priority should be Jimmy Rollins. I think this team would make a huge mistake if they let him go. After Jimmy, we should work on the bench, a good utility guy and backup catcher. After that we are done and get ready for next year. We don't need to waste our money on Cuddyer. Since 2003 fangraphs posts that Jimmy Rollins has been worth $151.9MM, Jose Reyes in the same amount of time has been worth $134.5MM. This should prove to the Rollins haters how valuable he has been to us. Sure he isn't the perfect leadoff hitter but losing Rollins and plugging in Galvis would really weaken this team.

LOL at that bolded stat...Rollins is on the decline, is 31 years old and isn't worth 5 years he's asking for. That stat is largely due to Rollins already being established as a starter by 03 while Reyes played 69 games that season. Rollins best years was 04-08 but OPS+ Rollins- 97, Reyes- 106 for their career.

Will always have a soft spot for Wigginton. Was an awesome player for the Mets during a rough stretch of years before Reyes & Wright came or hit their primes.

They traded him because Wright came up and took over third and they didn't have room elsewhere (Reyes @ 2B and Kaz @ SS).

He's developed into a hell of a utility guy who can play several spots and hit for power. Plus, he always goes balls out.

If they had the money to spend on Cuddyer and Rollins, does this possibly open the door for Reyes since they saved about 36 million by trading for Wigginton instead of giving Cuddy that 3 year/40 mil deal he thinks he is going to get

Solid backup plan for a month or two if Howard isn't ready to go for Opening Day, and then solid depth all around.
