The Braves and Royals have already discussed a Jurrjens trade, and the Braves have an interest in minor league outfielders Lorenzo Cain and Wil Myers, amongst several other prospects in K.C.'s deep farm system. The Royals are known to be targeting veteran starting pitching on the trade market this winter so the two sides would seem like a fit as trading partners. As Bowman notes, Cain could be seen by the Braves as a future center field option if Michael Bourn isn't signed to an extension.
Hey Nahste! Corey Hart and Casey McGehee for Jurrjens and Prado!

Then trade Randy Wolf for whatever we can get for him!

I was very happy to hear that CoCo was willing to come back for less, a guy who if given 50 chances is a lock for 40 Saves, for a reduced rate is a great deal

Rafael Furcal has told the Cardinals that he will wait for the team to hire a new manager before deciding where to play in 2012, reports Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Paul Kinser, Furcal's agent, says six teams have already contacted him about Furcal's services but "we're not in a hurry."

Mark Buehrle is "wide-open" to the possibility of joining a number of different teams, his agent Jeff Berry tells Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. Buehrle has said in the past that he only wished to pitch for the White Sox or his home-state Cardinals, but also said last month that he would be interested in pitching in the National League for the first time in his career.

Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle writes that one of the reasons why the Giants won't go after Reyes is because "they believe he's going to sign with the Mets and don't want to be Reyes' stalking horse for his negotiations with Sandy Alderson."
Giants also don't plan to pursue Jimmy Rollins, a center fielder is their highest priority.

Buehrle is one of my favorite players of all time, i'd hate to see him out of the White Sox uniform.

I know it has to happen but I'm dreading ever seeing it. I'm not usually one to make attachment moves or moves based off who the person is but I want the White Sox to do whatever they can to bring Buehrle back.

He's still a very good pitcher as well.

The Nationals have expressed interest in Roy Oswalt, according to MLB.com's Bill Ladson. Earlier today, Rizzo explained to reporters that he's looking for a veteran starter this offseason.

"We want a guy that has shown he's a good leader, that can win in the big leagues," Rizzo said. "It's not about having the best stuff. It's about being able to pitch 200 innings many, many times in your career.”

Oswalt would be a great move for the Nationals. Stable veteren guy who should really flourish in that ball park.

The Phillies agreed to bring Jim Thome back earlier today, and now they're after another player that wore a Twins' uniform in 2011. Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com reports that the Phillies are in serious pursuit of Michael Cuddyer, and his friendship with Thome could work in Philadelphia's favor.

With a need for offensive upgrades pretty much all over the field, the Giants are open to trading Jonathan Sanchez to free up some money according to Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports.

With his history of injuries recently, I wouldn't exactly call Oswalt stable. Though that is probably why the Nationals would be able to get him- if this is a healthy Oswalt with no concerns whatsoever, I don't think they would go after him. But it is a risky move, but it could pay off for them.
