Yes, even though I'd rather have both of them at the backend of the bullpen.

According to two Marlins beat writers, Joe Capozzi of the Palm Beach Post and Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald, the Marlins are definitely not in on Fielder.

The Marlins are the "best bet" for CJ Wilson, with the Angels a close runner-up, Rosenthal hears.

It would be the smart, almost necessary, move. Bailey is way too injury-prone at this point to rely on solely.

The Phillies are currently meeting with Jimmy Rollins agent Dan Lozano and could "get to the finish line" tonight, tweets Bob Brookover of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Miami is gobbling up players it looks like. My Chubbies need to make some moves. I personally don't care how much Pujols would cost they need some kind of spark. Last year the fans for the first time in awhile were not showing up to games.

I would probably rather have Prince because he would be cheaper and younger.

            Something please.

Yawk Rosenthal said it in the chatbox already but...

Francisco Rodriguez will likely accept the Brewers' arbitration offer, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network. Marcos Grunfield was first to report that the reliever is expected to accept.

Please be last minute bargaining tactic from Scott Boras! It's not like Jon Heyman isn't Boras' bitch or anything too.

On the Bright side this means no overpaid Ramirez/Rollins contract.

Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports hears from a source close to the Wilson negotiations that he expects the lefty to sign with the Angels for five years.

                          Orioles have done nothing...........

Duquette is one record wanting to get to .500 this year and we haven't made a trade for a starter and signed Oswalt or someone similar? Get out of here.

Oswalt isn't going to sign until Wilson does...he wants the leverage of being the best guy available.

And it's official. Rodriguez has accepted arbitration, tweets Adam McCalvy

I assume the Brewers, will fill the rest of their bullpen internally now, a rule 5 pick is likely, if there's anyone they like still available who could play out of the pen.

Lord help us, if Yuni is the P.O.S. SS they decide to sign.
