He reminds me of baseball posters at CCS who want every prospect up to the bigs now. If they fail, they fail and will never be good and move on. Everyone is always so enamored with can't miss guys that rake at every level that they forget about the solid prospects that turn into really solid/good major leaguers that progress normally through the minors. The perspective of some baseball fans is maddening.

It is because of the instant gratification from other sports. Baseball and hockey are the two big sports that have a progressive minor league system. In the NBA, some second round picks aren't even a lock to make rosters, and in the NFL, even a "project" first round pick might see the field at times.

I would not call these baseball fans "not fans" but they have a skewed perception of things because they are likely fans of NFL and NBA first.

Resigning zack greinke should be the Brewers number one goal. If signing Reyes prevents them from signing Greinke then I'll pass.
