    Manny rejects Dodgers offer

The Los Angeles Dodgers said Thursday that Manny Ramirez had turned down the team's latest offer. But his agent said he had countered the team's proposal.

Where do you think he ends up?

If he doesn't stop dicking around...

    Nowhere.

Could see him fitting in with the Giants though if they decide to pony up.

He might just be watching baseball this season. He'll end up in the ESPN studio's.

Someone needs to offer him a decent deal but tell him he doesn't have to show up for Spring Training. He'd take that with the quickness.

On a completely selfish level I hope the Giants get Manny. Going to all 3 Giants/Mariners games in May. Would love to see him live.

Giants really need him. They are loaded with pitching and have a few decent contact hitters that can get on base, but are lacking a power bat something fierce. Manny would make them the team to beat in the NL west IMO, or at least in the top 2 with the Dodgers.

I'm really starting to think he won't be on an MLB roster come opening day. Never really figured that to be possibly/likely, but its looking likely now...

Bingo! This is the only reason he hasn't signed yet. I hope the Dodgers drop some money off their offer whenever they decide re-negotiate. Manny is such a selfish baby, he can hit the cover off the ball, but he's such a bitch!

Manny is a bitch and should rot in hell. With the way everything is right now this selfish bastard doenst want 45 or 46 million for two years to play a fucking game. he can hit but he's 36, doesnt play defense and oh yeah may decide to sign that huge deal and wake up Tuesday morning in April and say "nah, I want more money, I dont feel like playing, my left knee hurts, wait its my right on, no its the left." The Red Sox are geniuses for this move. Jason Bay will be more then fine in Boston.

Im so glad my Halos didnt go after him and they still better not. The fucking Dodgers now next to the Yankees be the dumbest franchise in the league (the yankees throw all that money at AJ Burnett whos arm will probably fall off this season or he'll choke in NY and CC who pitched 1000 innings in 3 seasons and Texiera who hits 300 30 and 100 yep thats worth 450 million.) They are bidding against themselves for a guy that doesnt have any other takers. My god, I hope the Giants dont pay him either. Let him play in mexico for the year.

I agree with you that the lazy shit wants to get paid but doenst want to go to spring training. hey way to be a team player already Manny. What a dick.

He also had an option to get out after one year I believe.

As for the no point in bidding vs yourself, thats what they have done 4 times now.

                              Oh...Manny does.

I still think he ends up a Dodger. I see them trimming money off the offer, unless another team jumps in. No point in bidding against yourself.
I hope they do hold money back. He's already proving at this point he believes he is above the team.
