Not really a fan of the idea of moving Bard to the rotation, or of signing Matt Capps to be honest.

If the Sox can't make a move for Bailey, I'd prefer they try and throw a 1-year deal at Francisco Cordero, or even take a flyer on Octavio Dotel, or worst case, Brad Lidge.

Trying to cool off here, just upset that my favorite player will be playing in Miami now.

Financially it just didn't make sense for the Mets. 6 years is too much of a commitment for someone who has shaky legs (though he has been relatively healthy most seasons). It just hurts losing someone of his energy and the heart of the Mets.

Now to Ruben Tejada at SS...ugh. Shoot me!

          Capps is back with Minnesota

Alderson said he received some bad (unsolicited) offers for Wright, they're not dealing him.

What the fuck are the Dodgers doing?
Just signed Jerry Hairston Jr, a nice utility player for 2 years/6 million+incentives. And the rumor is they're close to signing Harang for more then Capuano got.

Brewers are talking to Dotel, this will be one bullpen signing I don't complain about, just so he never faces Ryan Braun again.

Also, please, please, please, don't sign with Miami, Mark Buehrle. There's nothing to hunt down there!

The Braves can't sign a utility infielder at all this offseason because they are all getting ridiculously overpaid and miscast as everyday short stops.

God damn this is a madhouse.

Not a good offseason to need IF and RP help. I assume there will be some bargains in January/February, but right now those positions are way overpriced.

Braves are waiting for Buehrle and CJ Wilson to sign before the market for Jurrjens heats up. Reportedly the Reds are being very aggressive, but with Hudson and Hanson going through some health issues I could see the Braves opting to begin the year with Jurrjens. Allow him to restore some value, deal him at the deadline for a better haul and by then you'll know more about how ready the kids are and how healthy Huddy and Hanson are.
