The 2011 MLB Winter Meetings officially ended today. The following are my winners and losers from this past week. One of the biggest things about the meeting are, of course, the deals that get done. The other big thing are the deals that are discussed here and completed after the meetings.
For the free agent market, some major dominoes fell and established the market for the players immediately behind them. On the trade market, GMs have had face-to-face time with each other and know what other teams want, and know what they want in return and they will continue to work to find a deal that works for them.
So, without any delay, here are my Winners and Losers from the winter meetings. Please be sure to share yours as well, and (dis)agree with mine.
