    Is JD Drew the most hated active player?

    Obviously guys like John Rocker or Barry Bonds are true villains for off the field stuff ... but in terms of active players, JD Drew might be the most hated player in the game.

    Consider ...

    -Phillies fans hate him for refusing to play for them after being drafted #1 overall.

    -Cardinals fans hate him for being an overpaid bust.

    -Braves fans hate him because they traded Adam Wainwright's career for a season of him, hoping he'd re-sign with the hometown team, and after putting up a career year he cashed in with (edit-Los Angeles) Boston.

    -Red Sox fans generally hate him for being overpaid and always being hurt.



    That is four of the bigger fan bases in the game who just outright hate this guy, purely for baseball reasons. It's hard to top that hatred.

              I never liked him. Nothing made me happier than to watch him fall flat on his face in Boston and now he is just another name in the MLB.

                                      JD Drew is disliked by Dodger fans but he's not even close to being as hated by us as this load of shit:



                                      Does Manny count as an active player? He filed re-instatement papers and will be serving his suspension this summer. Everyone hates him, too. Also, Milton Bradley hasn't retired yet (last time I checked). Fuck that guy.

                                                      Impossible to hate Andruw Jones? It's really easy. Have your team sign commit millions of dollars to him. Then feed him chicken and waffles all offseason so that he can show up to play center field fat, slow, and with a swiss cheese baseball bat.



                                                      But seriously, that dude's shitty play and shittier attitude dragged on this team for years with that bullshit re-worked contract. I've never seen a home team player get booed more loudly than Andruw Jones.
