Ken Burns' Baseball on MLB network today. Noon-10pm CST
Did anyone ever watch the 10th inning? I was pretty disappointed with it. These are still great, but I don't think Burns captures the modern game as well as he does the black and white still shots of the old days.

eh, we lived through that.
This is all about the old timey shit, and for the most part, it's great.
Someone should do an unfiltered ten hours on 1880-1930. Players getting traded for whiskey, upstarts like the American Association, Federal, & Union leagues stealing players, John McGraw tripping guys rounding third, Cobb pistol whipping black elevator operators, Ed Delahanty getting drunk and falling off a train into Niagara Falls, Old Hoss and his V.D., Ruth banging multiple hookers at once while drinking bathtubs full of beer, and the rest of the outrageous behavior and players abusing each other.
Uh, for reals, who is Ken Burns. All Google tells me is a guy who does documentaries for PBS
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"
