Any 7 pitchers, closers and starters get 10 points for win/save
    P Felix Hernandez
    P Jake Peavy
    P Yovanni Gallardo

    P Troy Percival
    P Adam Wainwright
    P David Price
    P Josh Johnson

Overall, decent start. Position of possible weakness is shortstop which is why I went with two up and comers. Happy with the rest of the team, deep in pitching as usual.
i like this, a lot, you have a back up to aviles in hardy that can still hit for power, and, i dont see any real holes on youre team, other than maybe hernandez who wont get many wins on the mariners or peavy with the padres (a total of 19 between the two last year), overall, great team, id put money on them

hernandez and gallardo are both good k pitchers but gallardos an injury risk and hernandez is shaky every year

your hitting is great though, and youve got some good speed (kemp, reyes, victorino, jones)

dont worry about rp/cp, you should never pay for saves, youre bound to pick someone up who will get some saves, closers lose their jobs every year

just focus on improving that sp, trade either hernandez or gallardo (id say hernandez personally, more people want to have buttsecks with him) and get a nice productive starter where you know what youre going to to get (mark buehrle type)
Yea I waited for SP. I picked felix before haren because I think felix is going to have a great year. What SP do you suggest? I don't think Buehrle was even drafted.

Edit: I just picked up Buehrle off of waivers and dropped Jered Weaver. Good move?

Just finished my draft tonight, 10 team mixed leage, 5x5 H2H:

C Mike Napoli (wanted Iannetta but I'll be fine with Nap's above avg. power)
        1b Albert Pujols (2nd overall)
2b Dustin Pedroia (worried about his ability to hit the high inside fastball)
        3b Aubrey Huff (midround pickup)
ss Rafael Furcal (a reach that resulted from running short on time, hope he's healthy)
of Carl Crawford (steals, steals, and more steals)
of Brad Hawpe (steady production, dude is from LSU, and nobody was left)
of Torii Hunter (meh pick when there was not much left, wish I had it back though)
ut Alexei Ramirez (all around stud, bout to be a fucking force)

SP Roy Halladay (more than solid)
        SP Roy Oswalt (ditto)
        SP Erv Santana (d'oh)
SP AJ Burnett (just purely for Ks and Ws, hope he doesn't fuck my ERA too hard)
P Zack Greinke (late round value pick up, consistent and serviceable)
P Johnny Cueto (late flyer, dude has electric stuff and is 22)
P Brad Zeigler (mr irrelevant in our draft, but a sleeper pick, gonna close for the first month or so)
RP Carlos Marmol (expect him to win the CL job at some point, amazing WHIP/ERA)
        RP Trevor Hoffman (creaky)

BN Mike Aviles (insurance for Fragile Furcal)
BN Andre Ethier (can't turn down .300 20 and 80 in the last few rounds)

Obviously, my bullpen could stand to improve. I got screwed with an end selection in a snake draft and kept missing out on the close runs. I was going BPA at that point, trying to stockpile as much talent to possibly work out a deal later. I can always find some cheap saves at some point during the season. Might try to dangle one of my OFs for saves, or just bottom feed all year and see what sticks.

But other than that, do you see any glaring weaknesses in any one category? I tried to get a decent blend of everything, with a heavier lean towards AVG and R than anything else. I think I'm a little short on HR with only really one true feared power hitter, but have several reliable 20-25 HR guys. Steals aren't great either but hopefully Raffy and Crawford run enough to keep me afloat there.

Solid team, but I'm not crazy about your outfield. Also WTF is with this pick one team's pitchers crap? That's even lamer than the guys who pick team defenses for football.

a little scared of your era, oswalt is on the decline, and then you have burnett, cueto, and hoffman, with marmol having a who knows year, really like ziegler and halladay on this team because of their low era's, just watch out for that

put ethier in for hunter, with manny in the lineup the guy is a beast, and gets sb's

Sonanstine (I tried to get Buerle but he didn't clear waivers for some reason)
Really depends on the # of teams in the league, but 5/10.

You have a great group of infielders including Alex Gordon who should truly have his breakout year this season. Decent group of outfielders, but nothing show-stopping. Your SPs look really good, but any one of them could fall because of their team performance or false talent. Relievers could use some help as well.
