    My dad has been an Astros/Colt 45s fan since the team's inception. I'll have to run these changes by him and see how much he hates it. Actually have yet to ask him about the AL move, so this should be a fun convo.

      I think Colt .45's might just be old timey enough to where it won't come off as promoting violence or any of that nonsense.

      I'm not gun expert, but I associate Colt .45's with Billy The Kid more than I do with Bloods & Crips. It's not 'Houston Gats' or 'Houston AK's' or some shit.

        I don't think they need a name change at all. They're moving to the other league, not a different city. It's still the same franchise.
