I know its not relevant right away but Cabera should def see some time at 3rd this season to get ready for 2012. There is not a single position Martinez ca play besides DH.

So essentially all it took to get rid of Inge was giving someone else 214 million dollars. I'll take it!

Cabrera and Peralta eh? Sounds like a terrible left side of the infield to me. Sure Fister and the other non-Verlie pitchers will be thrilled.

A lot of people ragged on peralta last year yet he was perfectly fine. He had one of the best fielding % for a SS last year. Inge is so fucking overrated though. For every great play he makes, there another mental error that ends up fucking us at another point. He takes too many risks and not capable of pulling them off like he used too.

                      Fielding percentage? Pfft.

Anyway, guys like Doug Fister and Charlie Furbush will see their ERA balloon with that brutal infield defense.

                        So did Yunieksy Betancourt.

Please, please tell me Betancourt is a solid defensive shortstop. I beg you.

Adrian Gonzalez for 7 years, $154 million is starting to look like a bargain.
