    Baseball IQ

Has anyone else watched this show? It's some good baseball trivia.

I struggle with the questions about old school players, but I think I could beat some of these warner2bruce looking candidates that they have on this show. The episode I just watched had the question "How many of the top 20 RH HR hitters can you name?" The guy guessed Hank Aaron, A-rod...and Cecil Fielder. LOL.

This was after he missed Cecil Fielder on the question, "Name the top HR hitters in Detroit Tiger history."

Real shame that I don't have MLB Network at school. At least I do have it at home for May-August.

I need to stop watching this show. It's fucking rage inducing. Today they had the question, name the 20 players with the most starts at 1B in 2011. They named five, between the two participants.

HOW DO YOU WORK FOR A MAJOR LEAGUE TEAM AND YET YOU'RE ONLY ABLE TO NAME TWO FUCKING 1B?

Did you see the guy who had to name 9 of the top 20 all time NL HR hitters to win the game, named 8, and then blanked out?

That would have been fine, but he missed BARRY BONDS.

                  LOL.

Also today they had to name the pitchers with the most wins from 2000-2009. It was the last question, so it was bidding, and the bidding stopped at 6, for the Top 20, like that was a super hard number to reach.

I have only watched one time, it was Braves v. Marlins...

The Braves guy was way ahead but mainly because the Marlins guy didn't know shit after the first guess. You know people are done on those types of trivia shows when they blow their load just to name the most obvious choice. One of the questions was "name the pitchers who have had the most wins saved by Heath Bell" ... guy practically shits himself blurting out JAKE PEAVY, and can't muster another guess. Neither guy said Mat Latos ...

Anyway so he's down 10-1, and needs 10 good guesses on the 9th inning question, which was top career HR leaders in the NL ... He pulls out some great guesses (Bagwell, Schmidt were his first two) and saves Hank Aaron till the middle so it looked like he was cruising. He gets one guess away from the crazy last second comeback, and he can't think of Barry Bonds. Buzzer sounded and Vasgergian started ribbing him.

                      I can't believe that show.

Still don't understand why they don't have fans on this show instead of people that work MLB.

Stump the Schwab still the best sports trivia show.

I was watching the other day and they asked them to name the 10 managers with the most wins in A's history and they both missed Tony LaRussa...
