I don't feel Andrelton Simmons is as good as some think he is. Had a really good year with the bat but that was his biggest question mark going in. He's got a plus plus arm and is really athletic, but I doubt he can sustains his high contact rate. Last year he posted a lower walk rate and a higher strike out rate than in his first professional season, but a .343 BABIP helped him hit thirty points higher.

Still might end up being a solid regular but I can't ever see him being much more than that. Basically, he's exactly like the other shortstops in the Braves system, including Pastornicky. Betancourt is as intriguing a player as we have thanks to his tools, but there are questions about his bat (unless you trust numbers from the Arizona Fall League).

Cant believe bettances is making it, we played together for a few years in youth service and played against each other a few times in high school when he was on grand street campus. Of course he beat us but he wasn't so far ahead of us in terms of pitching skill. He did buy tickets for his first game last year and I'm proud he worked out the kinks to make it. Hopefully he makes us Yankee fans happy and makes us youth service vets proud.

                Just a hypothesis.

Maybe some bum like NAHSTE can do the leg work on that one and get back to me.

Of the Top 20 of the 2012 list...

Matt Moore, Bryce Harper, Shelby Miller, Manny Machado, Trevor Bauer, and Jesus Montero I think will be the best of that Top 20 bunch.

Of the 26-50, I like Pomeranz, Jackson, Rendon, Rizzo, Alonso, Singleton the most.

I disagree. Maybe its me being a homer but i see Machado being the top of the bunch. All of them will be great in their own regard but Machado to me has IT.

Bruh bruh...the collective was the best of the Top 20...not just Montero. The whole group were the guys I cherry picked from the Top 20 that I liked.

And, I think Harper will be the absolute best of the bunch.
