Mike Constanzo was sent down for the hot hitting Kris Negron, who has a .212/.291/.336 with 5 home runs, 16 RBI stat line... lol.

I like Constanzo, and he's a nice story. He hit some balls hard, but he also struck out a ton, and one fucking hit in three weeks just isn't going to cut it. He was actually worse than Willie Harris. Maybe we will see him in September. I'm pulling for him.

The Carlos Quentin to Cincinnati rumors are heating up thanks to Buster Olney. I have no idea what we would give up but that would be a move that would plug our LF and clean up hole all at once...

I don't love Quentin, but he'd be an upgrade.

You would think Heisey would have to be involved, because the Reds aren't going to carry Heisey, Ludwick, and Quentin. Or maybe they would, but somebody is never going to play.

Negron plays every position and it looks like this move was made in part because Stubbs is hurt. Negron is a light hitting super sub type (like we don't have a million of those guys already). I would assume Heisey will play center and Negron in the 4th OF. This explains why Wilson Valdez played CF last night in the 9th. I thought Dusty was just white toweling the game.

That one ball he hit in Houston was a heartbreaker. High towering shot that was caught by Shaefer over the shoulder running up the hill. A HR literally anywhere else ever except for the Polo Grounds.

I saw a sick stat yesterday that can't possibly be true.

Joey Votto only has pulled ONE ball foul and into the stands since the beginning of 2011.

I don't know what's more amazing, that stat, or the fact that I believe he has only two IF pop outs since 2010.

4-5 in our last 9 against the Pirates and Astros. That will not cut it if we want to stay atop the Central.

I'm about fed up with Dusty's love for the veterans we have at SS and 3B. Cozart and Frazier should start 95% of the games IMO, and definitely should start after the team has an off day.

There's a nasty flu bug going around the Reds clubhouse. Cozart had it today which is why he didn't start and wasn't even at the ballpark.

Latos to start tomorrow, with Leake's start being pushed back a day because he has the flu as well

Stubbs getting hurt may not have been a bad thing...that made Heisey know 100% he would be in the lineup everyday? What has he done with that knowledge? Batted .308 the last 7 games and been marvelous with his glove.

After going 3-5 today in the 2-hole, Cozart's slash line in that spot in the lineup: .377/.431/.585
