That's about as good as it got for Fuku at Wrigley.
Brewers still won that game, despite Eric Gagne. -
FedEx tweeted about the move. He likes the value.
This slanty does get on base at a good clip. Not a bad guy to have around.Comment

I always thought it odd that he ever made it over to the MLB, because his swing is so fundamentally wrong. I guess he's like the Hideo Nomo of batters, but since he has no power whatsoever he'll never be more than a stop-gap player.Comment

2-3 WAR (the other parts of his career), .360 OBP, sees a lot of pitches, good OF arm, good defense... for $1 million it's a pretty solid value. Wish he had more power, but that's not going to happen. I think he got a raw deal in Chicago based off expectations and the money he was paid but for $1 million he's a great stopgap.
Essentially shows that Jordan Danks and Jared Mitchell are garbage and probably will never make the majors.Comment

Love it for the value. He'll probably split time with Rios in RF initially but depending on how Rios plays he may take his spot completely.

He ruptured his Achilles and for someone who's best tool was speed, he's basically ruined.Comment

He's always had a long swing and K'd a lot.
Even in 2009 when he hit .296/.417/.435, he was still striking out 28% of the time.
2011 (A+) .222/.304/.377 still struck out around 33% of the time. Obviously it's increased but not that much. He was able to get away with it when he was 20 and fully healthy and probably making better contact/in better shape.Comment
