I have to check out Wings and Rings sometime. I know they do post game from there as well, but I've never been there.

I'd like to go to the Cell for a game and see the park now. Just never really been motivated to go. When I'm in Chicago I prefer Northside/downtown more.

What? Like I've never been to Wrigleyville before. The entire neighborhood is bars that serve overpriced drinks. Come on.

Never been to US Cellular...but any place has to be better than Wrigley. Without the history played in Wrigley, it could possibly be the worst complex in sports.

Wings and Rings is tight. Decently priced. Also there's a little secret to getting there before a game and parking for free then walking to the Cell but let's make that our little secret.

I'm in Wrigleyville 5-6 times a year. Everything in Chicago is over priced.

              It's fucking Chicago.

I've partied all over Wrigeleyville and never gotten a yuppie bar feel(from a bar I can recall). Most of those to me are downtown/Rush St where the douches pay $15 for a mixed drink.

I still remember going to a Cubs-Phillies game there a few years ago when they had the netting up because the concrete was breaking off and was a threat to fall on people.

Wrigley needs some massive upgrades/fixes but I've been to worse pro sports venues in my life

I guess it depends on the defintion of yuppie. I think it's more of a "bro" bar scene.

I can see that. It's def more a frat atmosphere.

Absolutely. Rush St. is your show up in a suit, yuppie scene. Wrigleyville is very much on the frat/bro scene.

                        Agreed.

Even still on the Northside I like the neighborhood bars better. Guthries Tavern is an awesome joint.

Tons more as well. I really never venture into the Cubby Bear or HC's if I can avoid it.

                        EDIT* Fuck Rush Street.

Rush Street is where the clubs are at, which is a different atmosphere. I think you're setting the bar too high for a "yuppie" bar. The bars in Wrigleyville may be have pub or sports bar atmospheres but there aren't many dive bars in that neighborhood. It's all very "middle class white people" to me.

Rush St is the defintion of yuppie with the clients they have at those bars and clubs.

Yupies to me are uppity people who sit around drinking $8 bottles of bud light on Rush St to feel important and "in"

Wrigleyville bars to me are more the annoying fucking "bro"/fratty bars. Different feels completely IMO

There are enough dive/small neighborhood joints for me in Wrigleyville but I love walking the North Side in general looking for small places. Even if not in Wrigleyville itself.

Never really bar hopped in or around The Cell.

                            How is it?(Fed/Spiker)

I like the atmosphere a lot. Like I mentioned Cork and Kerry is only a block or so away (http://chicago.metromix.com/bars-and...769033/content), then Buffalo Wings and Rings not too far either it's a pretty cool place.

If you're looking for the post-game all-night party, you won't find it there, it's more or less the before or after the game, get some food, drink, hang out atmosphere.

Ehhhh, not enough bars down there to really hop around. It's more about tailgating at the Cell.

I personally go up to UIC neighborhood after games and wait for traffic to die down on 290. There's more bars and restaurants up there plus that's where I went to school so I feel "at home" in that neighborhood. That Wings and Rings place is south of UIC on Halsted, too.

I guess if you're into Asian food you could hit up Chinatown. LOL. I hate dirty ass Chinatown though.
