LHP Darin Gorski made his 2012 debut in AA last night: 6.0 IP, 1 H, 3 BB, 7 SO. A great start coming off his great season at A-ball St. Lucie last year.

WE may have the big 4...Wheeler, HArvey, Familia, Gorski!

Great sweep of the Braves...hope we can continue when the Nats come into town...almost blew the lead today but I never felt the game was in doubt...

The Mets lineup is not half-bad this year. The pitching is still a question mark, provided they don't get to pitch against shit lineups like ours all year, but there is plenty of firepower to be found from the Mets hitters. Duda and Davis are gonna be great complements to Wright all year, and Tejada will give you 60-70% of what Reyes did.

Yeah we just won't have the SB threat...we have some guys who can have high OBP's like Tejada, Wright, Duda, Davis in there, and we have pretty good pop.

I really think Johan coming out and pitching as well as he did set up the series on a high for us. I think we rode it out and Dickey, Niese pitched well in their starts. I still don't trust Pelfrey and despite Gee, who I feel has good stuff, he has to put it together...and the pen still is a question mark though they pitched well this weekend.

I didn't know the Braves had so many lefty bats...damn.,..

We look good up there at the plate, sans Bay and Ike. Hudgens has worked some magic this off-season. Bay needs to GTFO or platoon with Captain Kirk.

4-0 boys. CAPTAIN KIRK hit a bomb and Pelfrey looked serviceable. Highly doubt he keeps it up all season long.

Pelf struck out 8...EIGHT! his high last season was 6...maybe his tinkering of his delivery helped a ton...

Ridiculous. Wright jammed a pinky sliding into a base last night. He's not playing tonight or tomorrow, thought process is they rather sit him now instead of having it develop into something serious.

Cedeno will get the start at 3rd tonight with Turner at 1st since Davis is sitting with a lefty starting.

Familia pitched last night and picked up his first win at AAA.

GREAT performance from Dickey tonight, out dueled Lee. Bay with a home run, too.

Wright looks like he's going to the DL and it sounds as though they'll be calling up OF Josh Satin and putting him on the bench. Murphy would move to 3rd while Turner and Cedeno split time at 2nd.

In the minors tonight, Zack Wheeler went 6 innings, gave up 5 hits and 1 run but struck out 9. The Binghamton bullpen blew the lead, though.

Of Wheeler's 81 pitches, 57 went for strikes.

Dickey didn't have it yesterday. On the bright side, Wright is still hot. Davis looks to be coming out of his slump and Capt. Kirk is doing well with the bat and in center.

                              Farm

Wheeler made his 3rd start of the season in Double-A last night, and still isn't getting much run support. Otherwise, he's doing well.

                              6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 8 K, 82 Pitches/49 for strikes, 23 batters faced, 7 groundouts, 2 flyouts

                              On the season so far:

                              2.40 ERA, 15 IP, 12 H, 4 ER, 0 HR, 5 BB, 21 K, .231 AVG

Won't turn 22 until next month

Cedeno on the 15-day DL. Apparently, they're gonna promote Valdespin after the doubleheader.
