    Andy Pettitte....is back

    JonHeymanCBS
YES reporting yankees signed andy pettitte to a 1-yr deal, 2.5 mill

    Buster_ESPN
Yankees now loaded with rotation guys: Sabathia, Kuroda, Nova, Pineda, Hughes, Garcia and Pettitte. AP won't be ready for awhile, though.

Pettitte does turn 40 in June, so not sure he can come back.

Knew he still wanted to pitch even if it's out of the bullpen the Yankees can never have enough pitching.

Lol @ Buster's Yankees are now LOADED with rotation guys. Yeah, hypothetically they have a lot of guys that start or use to start but signing AP doesn't really make you "loaded" when he probably can't even pitch anynmore.

White Sox sign Alex Fernandez, Jack McDowell and Wilson Alvarez. LOADED WITH ROTATION GUYS~!

how does this hurt the yanks at all? even if he is a RP that gives them a situational lefty out of the pen. even if his stuff is slow he can be solid if he has control. shit look at doug jones and his offspeed junk.

plus they gave him 2.5 for 1 year. thats pocket change for the yanks and allows petite to retire a yankee....i hate the yankees, but think this is a solid signing because they cant get hurt with it
