Honestly I figured it wasn't huge news, but I don't follow the Nationals one bit so I wasn't sure?

Well, with the 160 inning limit, there was some thought given to putting him in the back of
the rotation early on, and skipping a few starts here and there in April, with the idea that they could extend his season and have him through September. In other words, spread the 20-22 starts out.

But now Johnson is saying that they are just going to let him pitch on schedule, with no game to game inning caps, and when he hits the magic number, he's done. If he throws a bunch of CG's, so be it.
