Moyer, 49, makes team as #2 starter

As expected, Jamie Moyer has made the Rockies’ rotation. He will pitch second, following opening day starter Jeremy Guthrie.

The Rockies rotation is so shitty. I feel so bad for Tulo and CarGo, that team is pretty much shite around them.

The Astros released Livan Hernandez & Zack Duke, moved Brett Myers to the bullpen, and decided to give those 600 or so SP innings to young pitchers, likely at the expense of a few wins.

The Rockies traded for Jeremy Guthrie and brought in Jamie Moyer, and gave them the top two spots in the rotation.

Two bad teams, two different approaches. Interesting.
