Billingsley made it into the 9th on his first start of the year. Ethier hitting two extra base hits off of a lefty - huge since he's got a history of struggles against lefties - the triple he hit would've been a home run in any other park. It was off the wall in the deepest corner of the outfield. Kemp already has a home run and a stolen base... Only 49 of each to go!

I started Kershaw, Gallardo, and Mariano Rivera in fantasy. Billingsley is on the bench.Comment

Opening day, yesterday, was nothing more than a huge fucking hassle. Waaaaay too many people in Miller Park. Just too much going on for it to even be enjoyable. Oh yeah, and they got curb stomped by the Cards again.
Best part of the day for me was my non conversation conversation with Motte at the end after making my way to the bleachers.
Me: Hey Jason! Hey Motte!!!
Him: *turned and looked*
Me: Damn man, yall couldnt let us get this one, havent you done enough?
Him:
Me: Lol PeaceComment

I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything, but Capuano looked awesome in Spring Training. I can't wait to see how he does in his first game. We gotta get as many easy games as possible in case this ends up being a long NL West year. Dodgers have an easy April schedule so it's important to start hot. San Diego looks like they weren't ready for the season to start. Errors all over the place.
I'm going to the game next Thursday in LA against the Pirates. I'm so pumped that McCourt is essentially gone so that I can stop boycotting the team. I hadn't bought a Dodgers shirt in over a year and the only reason I went to a game last year was because the tickets were free. Seriously fuck Frank McCourt.
That sucks and I feel your pain. They don't exactly put "stomach flu" in the injury report before games. I would've told you to start Bills. He's gotta have a big year or look for a new uni. Trade bait if he doesn't put up numbers. Honeycutt made a bunch of subtle changes in his delivery over Spring to keep him consistent. I'm not going to lie though, last night was a gift from home plate. The ump was calling every checked swing and a bunch of questionable outside pitches for balls. He did it both ways, so at least he was consistent with the wide strike zone. Ethier was pissed (as usual). Hahaha[REDACTED]Comment

As for Capuano, he should be money in Petco. Good dude. Overpaid, but still a good dude.Comment

he pitched pretty much to his periphials last year but another year off his injury SHOULD see better results, especially in Petco.Originally posted by Nick MangoldWes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate.Comment
