I would probably be overjoyed if the Royals were ever in a position to break my heart as a fan.

This has to be #1. The below is my likely #2 (though the bug game sucked!)

1995 playoffs - the game in Seattle where Edgar doubled home Griffey. It was Donnie Baseball's first playoff series, and his last game. Interestingly, if you go to Safeco and take the tour, the first thing they say is that that series helped build the ballpark.

I remember the Aaron Boone HR. My daughter was 16 months, and I was going as nuts as I could without waking her up!

Not making the playoffs in the VSD Fantasy Baseball league last season was pretty rough.

Interestingly, if it wasn't for that and the 1994 strike, there may not have been a Joe Torre era.

Game Six of the 2003 NLCS for obvious reasons.

                          The 2007 NLDS.
                          The 2008 NLDS.

Hell the 22 years of my life watching Cubs baseball..

Going to show my age here... but the '96 playoffs for sure. That was the season that I followed baseball where the Cardinals were actually good. The Cardinals went up three games to one against the heavily favored Braves, and not only did they lose the next three games, but they got outscored about 95 to 2.

Griffey JR leaving the Mariners for the Reds. Holy fuck that ruined me for a long time.
