Talk about guys who suddenly fell off the face of the Earth.
What ever happened to Troy Glaus?
Gary Sheffield?
Jacque Jones?
Gary Sheffield and suddenly do not mix. He played friggen 22 years and wouldn't go away. If you want to know what happened after his career, no one gives a fuck about that.
I imagine Glaus is rehabbing his roided up body somewhere.

I just feel like he was roided up hitting bombs for the Yankees not too long ago. Then he left and was forgotten and never talked about in the blink of an eye.

No one probably cares but I actually know because he was mentioned in an Orioles blog. He is representing players as an agent.
Dmitri was actually in the stands at one of the Rays game's last year when they were facing Detroit so he could watch his brother Delmon. He was telling the Rays walk around guy he was getting back in shape and hoping to join a team. Not sure what happened after that.
There was one point during the off-season that Dmitri Young was a name being thrown around Reds camp. Nothing ever materialized, but apparently he did try and get in shape and attempt a return, just don't think it ever got off the ground.
Sheffield never really went anywhere. Lived in Tampa his whole life and is just chilling in the Bay area enjoying retirement - I assume. I was behind him in line at Dick's Sporting Goods several weeks ago. I was buying some bait and he was buying about $4,000 worth of shoes and baseball equipment (kids sizes though, I'm assuming for his kids or a charity, little league, etc.). Oh, and he swiped a black Amex to pay for it.
Maddon & Friedman: Pissing off the AL East since 2008
Awful list of "whatever happened to" players. All of these guys were playing major league baseball as recently as three seasons ago. What happened to them? They had long careers and then retired.
Should've gone with Chris Snopek, Mike Caruso, Ron Karkovice, etc.
