The Nationals have announced that they're promoting outfielder Bryce Harper to the Major Leagues tomorrow (Twitter link). Harper will take Ryan Zimmerman's place on the active roster and the third baseman will be placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Nationals are getting a .094 batting average out of whoever is playing in LF. Obviously, that just won't do. Lombo will be playing third base full time (I hope) which means we gotta put someone in there.

I can't remember, but I could have sworn that the Nationals had to wait till May to not lose Harper to free agency a year sooner.

From what I understand, the deadline has just recently passed, so he won't be FA eligible until 2018.

Still don't think he's ready. Still think I would have rather had Moore called up. Guy has more ABs in double and triple A and we could maybe move him at the deadline.
