They can't just switch roles. Mike Leake is not the type of pitcher you want to use in high leverage situations, he'd be a long man/mop up guy.

Nick Masset & Bill Bray would be the guys who "replace" what Chapman's role is in the bullpen. The Reds bullpen is full of people like Alfredo Simon and JJ Hoover right now. Aside from Logan Ondrusek, who is very good, who among a group of Simon, Hoover, Sam LeCure, Jose Arredondo, and Mike Leake would you trust to pitch in the high leverage late game situations that Chapman is being used in? The Reds bullpen would essentially become Ondrusek, Arredondo, & Marshall, along with four long men/mop up guys.

The best place for Chapman right now is the bullpen.

Ozzie Guillen is providing quite the entertainment in Miami. Losing 7-2 to the D-Backs right now. PATRICK CORBIN is pitching for the D-backs, he has 5 K's in 5 innings and has only give up 5 hits and 2 runs. Mind you this kid (22 years of age) hasn't even pitched a game in AAA (from what I can gather from Baseball Reference) and is going to get this win. Guillen is batting Stanton in the 6 hole with Austin Kearns hitting clean-up today. Austin Kearns made an error in the field today, I think it was a dropped fly ball.

The top four hitters in their lineup are batting .250 or less, then after Infante who is hitting .317 the rest of the lineup is under .240...WHO THE FUCK IS THEIR HITTING COACH??? They have 2 runs today on a home run form...pinch hitter Donnie Murphy. I understand it's April, about to be May, but holy shit, how can an entire lineup hit that bad for an entire month?

Just imagine is Pujols went to Miami and was doing his slump thing over there, that team would be even more of a wreck.

        Poor hitting, silly lineup construction.

Doesn't sound like the Ozzie Guillen I remember.

Seriously though, I wouldn't mind Bonifacio playing short or second.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Great news Cubbie fans! Kershaw is pitching Wednesday so it looks like you're in for a weekend of Bills, Caps, and the Harangutang.

Edwin Encarnacion is absolutely RAKING. I love it, I can't hate on a former Red ballin out somewhere else.

The fact that Kearns was hitting clean-up is so....I cant even describe it. He sucks.

He came from the Nats. Marlins traded Josh Willingham for him .

Ryan Braun is the first player...ever...to hit three home runs in one game at PETCO.

First player to hit three home runs and a triple in a game since 1975.

                            MVP.

Ozzie says if his players don't make adjustments soon, he will do it for them. Says "major changes" will be coming if the Marlins don't start winning.

                                Oh boy.
