The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"
No clue what the Rays were doing tonight but they blew that game. Taxed the bullpen and Maddon tried to do too much Maddonball or w/e the hell you want to call it when they were at the plate.
Huge day of baseball today. Incredible pitching match ups abound. Three of my favorite pitchers are going this afternoon:
1.
2.
3. TOM MILONE
And that's not nearly all. Tat Latos faces off against the Pirates, Cain faces Marcum and to top it off we've got "Coal Hammels" vs. Jordan Zimmermann in the night game.
Runner on third, pass ball. He felt the best way to block home was with his leg.

I have a feeling that the Nationals are going to have some regret in giving up Milone. He's one of those guys that's going to do well and be cost effective for a while.
Supposedly, Zimmerman wants to play tonight but the staff are saying it'd be better to rest today and be ready to go on Tuesday. This only delays the Davey's decision on what to do with Lombardozzi. Since being a starter, he's been hitting .278/.333/.333. Been solid with the glove too. While that doesn't seem to be impressive, Ian Desmond continues to swing at every pitch he can and Espinosa is struggling to maintain the Mendoza line ...
