    Longoria out 4 - 8 weeks

The Tampa Bay Rays will be without third baseman Evan Longoria for four to eight weeks because of a partially torn left hamstring, team executive vice president Andrew Friedman said Tuesday.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Evan Longoria took a right turn out of the Tampa Bay clubhouse and walked a few feet before stepping in front of a group of reporters huddled around a lineup board that will not list his name for the next four to eight weeks.

The three-time All-Star was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a partially torn left hamstring Tuesday. Replacing his bat and glove won't be easy.
    Ouch
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

I don't know. Either way Pete will be taking out his rage on some poor ten year old on Xbox live.

We'll be fine. Evan has a penchant for missing multiple weeks over the last few seasons. I think it was back in 2010 when we lost Logo and CC for over a month, at the same time, and everyone expected us to just fall out of the race and die. Didn't happen. It won't happen now either. Granted it sucks, but, JoeMa and the brain-trust will get us through.
