    Bryce Harper.....I like the kid

I know he gets a lot of shit from people..for what reason I don't know...but I love watching him play.

Might be my favorite new major leaguer.

Him and Ankiel in the same OF= Nobody runs EVAR

Kids had a pretty damn good start and he looks really comfortable out there. It's amazing how well the Nats have done with the struggles they have had scoring runs, they've leaned on their pitching the first month and they really carried the team. Morse is supposed to come back in June when they start interleague play, I wonder if they keep him up till he and Zimmerman come back.

He's got a big head and a stupid haircut. He's also 19. Teenagers are retarded. I like Harper, too.

He did whatever they say he did to show up a pitcher once in the minor leagues, so he's clearly a monstrously egotistical asshole who probably likes to beat up women and hates fans.

I'm quite happy I got back into following baseball pretty close this season cuz watching him so has been fun. Kid seems to be living up to the hype so far and that's awesome.

I moved to MD at the right time. Harper's my favorite non-Cardinal to watch and is a must-see whenever he's on.

I like him too. With all the hype, he's entering the league as the Lebron James of baseball. We'll see if he can live up to the hype.

Saw him play Thursday Night. The stadium got loud for as little people that were there when he got up to bat.

Like I said in another thread, Strasburg and Harper playing together makes the Nationals my favorite team to watch.

We feel as though we should cheer since everywhere else he gets boo'd
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!

I watched him last night.....I wish he'd cut his hair, because it looks a mess. However, the kid is going to be a superstar.

I did find it funny that Cole Hamels admittedly threw at him last night.

I'm still baffeled as to why Hamels threw at him.

                            Why, exactly?

"That's something I grew up watching, that's kind of what happened. So I'm just trying to continue the old baseball because I think some people are kind of getting away from it. I remember when I was a rookie the strike zone was really, really small and you didn't say anything because that's the way baseball is," Hamels said.

"But I think unfortunately the league's protecting certain players and making it not that old-school, prestigious way of baseball," he said.

In other words, Hamels said, "It's just, 'Welcome to the big leagues.' "

Except people really didn't do that in the 90s when Hamels grew up but okay anyway chief.
