    No Lidge. No Storen.

Maybe Burnett? Or Stammen? I'd like to see Stammen, but then who would be our clutch, go to reliever in the middle innings?

Fuck ... can't even complain about run support. They got 4 runs last night.

I think when Gio or Jackson is on the mound, Davey has to let them pitch as long as possible. Jackson was only at 90 pitches last night. And he was the best hitter on the team ....
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

That would have been a horrible game to lose. Thank god for Logan Ondrusek. Red's are now 9-1 in getaway games, and 5-0-1 in our last 6 series.

So I read on twitter Corey Hart had a big fuck up in the 9th inning...go fucking figure.

Can't wait till he's off the team.

Also John Axford still has the current active MLB lead for most consecutive saves without blowing one. What a dumb stat.

And he blew the save in Game 5 of the NLDS, but that doesn't count.

The Brewers might be in the NL Central basement by the end of the week.

Maybe if we weren't playing the Cubs next.

Just mix Burnett, Clippard and Rodriguez.. the latter two I would like

Stay with Stammen go to reliever

I agree that Gio and Edwin need to go longer... pitch counts can really go to shit like the article W2B posted, unless your rehabbing and/or known to have a fragile arm. 110-120 should be the norm eh?

Bedard goes out with injury in the first, Hammel is missing his start tomorrow.. Bad news for my fantasy squad.

edit: and fucking wieland is now on the 15-day, his add is getting dropped today, probably gonna pick up Maholm who got his 4th win in a row today.

Blame the manager, Brewers were in that stupid deep OF positioning that never works. Votto hit a ball that Stubbs would have had to hold up on if Hart wasn't coming in for 100 feet away to play it.

Then in the bottom of the inning, Baker does the same fucking thing, and an Aoki pop up that would have been the third out fell in front of Heisey. Brewers load the bases and Reds escape.

More ROBOT MANAGERS, 9th inning, better prevent doubles!

This Cardinals offense is sooooooooooooooooooooo good. Berkman returns Friday to make it even better.

Unless some epic collapse happens (like Matheny leaving in JC Romero for multiple batters), St. Louis will get their first sweep of the season.
