Let's talk shirtseys

Have a shirtsey related question....

I have now purchased two Majestic shirtseys through the mlb.com shop - a Brandon Beachy one I had customized and a McCann one that was in stock. Seems like the customized Beachy one has a heavier screen print on the numbers. The McCann one is basically printed on the shirt and is more flexibile material that you can bend easier, but on the one the numbers have a thicker, shinier, more rigid texture, kind of like the Vermeil era Rams jerseys.

Has anyone else ordered a customized shirtsey that can confirm this discrepancy?

I can confirm that my Vermeil-era Tony Banks jersey has thicker, shinier numerals.

Yeah the thicker/shinier numbers fucking blow. I ordered an Edinson Volquez shirtsey [lol yes i know get our your laugh now] freshman year, and i wore it one time and never wore it again. I couldnt stand the thick vinyl esque shiny numbers. It seems the way to go is getting ones that are in stock otherwise you get those annoying shiny numbers that stick to your body and shit.

Glad you made this thread as I was just gonna buy a Beltran one. I got two questions, first:

Is the lettering problem so bad that it makes it not worth getting a customized one?

2nd: How do the shirtseys fit to size? I got a Nike Cards t-shirt for xmas that for an XL was a little on the smaller size (had that dry fit nice material).
