Fucking Christ ... can't buy a break it seems

Probably the Devil's payback for drafting Harper ...
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Ramos wasn't having that bad of a season, either. Now the Nats have to go with a backup catcher who they called up from AAA. I wouldn't be shocked to see if they try and work a trade for someone over the next week or so.

But on a larger scale, this is the 11th Nationals player to go on the DL this season

Ramos is also the 7th player to tear his ACL this month:arrieta:

They have Jesus Flores who I'm betting will end up shining. Guy was having a fantastic season in 2009 before injuring his shoulder. Seems to be 100% now. He's already better defensively behind the.plate than Ramos.

True, but who is going to play when he needs a day off? A guy they just called up from AA? I don't think he's going to be with the club for more than a month. The Nats need to add a veteran catcher.

They brought up a guy named "Sandy Leon" tonight, who proceeded to get hurt on a play at the plate so Flores is still the only guy

Their other options are a couple guys in AAA hitting Mendoza Line or below. They've definitely got to get someone, even if it's a recycled guy like a Barajas or Paulino.

I bet he wishes he didn't retire when he did.......I'm sure the Nats would have called him. Hell, after tonight, they still might make that call:sammysosadatass:

                      Holy fuck ...

Just play Harper behind the plate. We know he can take a hit.
