Rudi and Warner, what happened with Ondrusek today? I was keeping track of a few games on my phone yesterday and thought the Reds had it in the bag.

Lance Berkman decided that yesterday was "Tacky Tuxedo Travel Day". Here are some pics.

#Orioles - #Nats is the most intriguing interleague series in baseball. Who thought we’d be able to say THAT?
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

:arrieta: goes up against Edwin Jackson, should be a good one to start the series.

Nats are starting a pretty brutal stretch. The O's at home, then they go to Philly, Atlanta and Miami. Then Home for the Braves and Mets. All division opponents. Could find themselves in the basement by the time it's all done. But it would also be a great chance to prove they are a legit playoff contender.

Exactly. You hope they break even against those teams, or pull off an extra victory or two over that. Nats can definitely use this stretch to prove they are a legit playoff team.

Then again, and maybe this is just the product of me being from DC and rooting for those teams, they could just as easily end up below .500 when it's all said and done ...
