    Nationals going for the sweep of Boston today. Really not getting my hopes up as they always seem to lose game 3 for some reason.

        No Bryce Harper today. Apparently, Davey thinks a 19 year old needs a day off.


        And I've never understood "days off" in baseball. You still have to take batting practice and infield/outfield. You still have to work out. You still have to sit in the duggout. But, you don't get to play. It's like being told you have to go to work, but you can't do your job. You just sit there and socialize?
        The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
        As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
        If only I had died instead of you
        O Absalom, my son, my son!"

            And you're still available if the manager needs you to pinch hit, run or as a defensive replacement, and you have to stretch out and get ready the same way you would get ready to start.

                Considering he's a main stay in your lineup for the rest of the year I don't think it's crazy that he gets a day off. It's not even all about it being a physical break, you can relax mentally as well. You are the new moneyman btw with the post quality in here.

                                        Mike Matheny still has no clue how to manage a bullpen. And Jason Motte has no clue how to pitch - 20 straight fastballs and eventually one will get hit a long way, but mixing up your pitches ends in quick outs.

                                        It's baffling how we're only 2 games out at this point. This team fucking sucks.

                                        e: I still couldn't name 5 players on the Indians off the top of my head. Such a boring team.
