He has been hitting 93, sitting at 90-91. He's back.

His average fast ball velocity since 2007 is 92 mph. Clearly his past injuries haven't done a thing to his velocity. Go back to the Madden forum, we don't appreciate people who say dumb shit here.

GTFO with this simpleton shit. I've already explained why you can't judge him off of three months in 2010. If you can't go beyond "sportscenter level analysis" then kindly keep your mouth shut.

Don't BS us and tell us you are looking forward to his 5.00+ ERA and his WHIP that will break the WHIP scale.

              LIAR!
0.00 ERA, 0.50 WHIP. How about those apples?

Sheets was one of my favorite non Reds during his prime. I love pitchers who pound the zone, throw strikes, never walk anybody, and work fast.

I was 3 innings and five strikeouts away from considering myself Nostradamus.

Apparently it's the only kind of sample size you simpletons understand. I have yet to see any one make an argument against Sheets that using anything other then a drastically small sample size. Conclusion, Ben Sheets is fucking awesome.

So does that mean you like Joe Blanton?

Before this season, there had been 25 seasons with a qualified starting pitcher who has had a strikeout-to-walk ratio greater than 6.00, and every single one of them has had an ERA- of 86 or better.

To the likely surprise of many, Joe Blanton currently leads the NL with a 6.39 K/BB, and since Colby Lewis is out for the season and no other qualified starter has a mark better than 4.87, it is a pretty safe bet to expect Blanton to lead the majors in K/BB at seasons end.
