#orioles just confirmed Dontrelle Willis has announced his retirement. The D-Train is off the tracks.

Dude got paid at exactly the right time. Made $30 million from Detroit and only won three games for them in three years. Gotta wonder if injuries were the reason for the decline, or if he just stopped pushing once he got the big contract.

Honestly he wasn't that bad last year for the Reds. I wouldn't even have been mad if we brought him back for another year just as a left handed starter to have. Plus dude could still swing the bat last year. :dtrain:

He's made his money, now it's time to give up. He got rocked in a start for AAA, and I think the Orioles would have let him go had he not retired.

He'll always be remembered for his funky motion by people.
