Ned Colletti is still really stupid!

Looks like this is a win win situation for Brewer fans. If we win games we keep Greinke; if we lose, then we get rid of Gooby. Fuck yeah!

If Brewers decide to sell, Dodgers have identified Aramis Ramirez as possible 3B upgrade
I bet they sign him to a 5 year, 60 million extension too.

If they keep Greinke and don't trade him, it's only because the market value for deadline trades plummets due to not receiving a draft pick as compensation if the player walks. For a team like the Brewers that has really depleted the farm system in trades, that sandwich pick would help a lot more than a couple prospects from another team would.

Aramis is historically a much better 2nd half hitter. The guy had a tough April, an average May, and has been ripping the ball since the start of June.

Dodgers are looking to replace a guy that is hitting below .200 with virtually no power for a guy that will likely hit close to .290 with plenty of power.

Anyway, if MIL decides to pack it in, Aramis for just about anything the Dodgers offer is a win/win for both sides. It's a clear upgrade for the now free spending Dodgers, and the Brewers pick up some farm hands for a guy that was supposed to help cushion the Fielder blow, but with the bevy of injuries and everything else, it just hasn't worked out.

I hope you have fun with the shitty prospects you'd get in that trade. Aramis would be better than what we have now, and unlike the Brewers, we're not poor. Dodgers have zero issues taking on payroll in the interest of holding onto the better prospects. All the Brewers would gain is iffy prospects and payroll flexibility (which is a poor people problem).

            WHAT A SHITTY FRANCHISE!

Also, I expect the Dodgers to push harder for Chase Headley than A-Ram.
