Good for the Cardinals. Bad for my fantasy team. I haven't seen MCL anywhere, just minor meniscus tear. I'd imagine that any work on the MCL would have a much longer recovery time.

If there was ever a time for the Cardinals to get their head out of their asses and start playing up to their talent level, now is the time.

        This isn't 2011. Don't be greedy.

Lol, when I first heard about this, I thought to myself: We're going to have to set up an old fashioned suicide watch like in boot camp for Rudi

              Too late!!!
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Not true at all. Sure we are going to struggle without him in our lineup, but as long as we can stay afloat in the division we will be fine. Over the next 30 games, 24 of them are against teams under .500. Frazier will need to step up, as will Rolen.

The Reds announced that Votto underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee to repair the torn medial meniscus cartilage. Dr. Tim Kremchek did the operation. Votto will sidelined 3-4 weeks.
The streak of "successful" surgeries in sports extends to 67,987.
