Should the Washington Nationals have been the Washington Grays?

No article. Just my own thoughts and those of some friends.

We were talking about it after the Nats played the Brewers. Uniforms looks good IMO

So we got to talking about the color barrier and the Negro leagues and how the Grays used to be a Washington DC team for a while. We were discussing the Negro leagues and some players and how it would have been interesting if Josh Gibson and "Satchel" Paige had been able to come to MLB sooner. How much would the record books be different? How much would the game have changed? Would the influx of Latin ball players happened sooner?

The more I thought about it, the more I wonder if maybe the team should have been named the Washington Grays. It's a great name. Uniforms could have been designed around the old style uniforms. It would give the connection to old time DC baseball.

More over, might it help ease some of the leftover animosity and regret from the color barrier and Negro League days

Thoughts? I figure it's kinda dull on here and we can only talk about Mike Trout being awesome and Zack Grienke not winning the Cy Young for so long, ya know?
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

I guess I vastly underestimated the board. My mistake. We can go back to Goob's love of Grienke now I guess
