Eric Gagne says that 80% of his Dodger teammates used HGH.

“I don’t know why I feel so guilty. It’s hard to explain. Maybe it’s because I love baseball so much,” Gagné said at Old Montreal’s Taverne Gaspar, where the official book launch took place Tuesday. “I don’t feel like I cheated; I find it too bad that I lied to other players in saying I had always been ‘clean’. That’s what I try to explain a little bit in the book. But I don’t know why I feel guilty. I knew that it wasn’t legal. That it had never been prescribed by my doctor. I knew that it would help me.”

Beltre called for Gagne to name names, and Robin Ventura didn't seem to inclined to agree with the assessment either. I wonder if there will be more fallout from this, or if it will just be a blip on the radar.

Will be interesting to see what transpires from this, but there's no evidence that HGH actually helps performance. Placebo effect, more or less.

HGH has similar effects to steroids. Plus, it has healing benefits. Until baseball has Olymipc style blood testing, I can't be convinced that the use in not widespread.

People like Ventura & Beltre will be defiant for obvious reasons.

Well im just going by some of the players on the team from 1999-2006 these are the ones that could all be candidates. Not saying all these players did steroid or HGH but if I had to say anyone it would be some of the people here.

Several of those players were either named on the Mitchell Report or failed a drug test outright.

Mota has been caught twice, including about 3 months ago, so it's safe to say he was one of the 80%, lol.

How dare you accuse Kosher Shawn Green of dirty play.

HGH is used for recovery. For a day in day out game like baseball it 100% has benefits.

Exactly. Can definitely imagine some of those veteran pitchers like Kevin Brown being involved in this.

Also quite possibly the worst contract given out, considering his performance to that point.

Yup. I forget if Jason Schmidt was with them when he had to retire as well.
