He'll be on another team, so I agree.

On a serious note, I wonder which Orioles will regress, or whether the coaching/new organizational philosophy implemented by Rick Peterson and Chris Correnti for pitching have worked to change things for the better.

Adam LaRoche but I don't think it's actually a regression but more of a return to normalcy. I hope the Nationals don't throw a ton of money at him to stay. I'd rather let him walk and take the Comp draft pick. We can then move Morse to 1st base full time, slide Harper to left, and pursue a true CF like Michael Bourn.

Your CF will probably be BJ Upton if that's the case. Rizzo's been after him for a couple years, and now is the time to get him. I also think Bourn is going to be prohibitively expensive, and that the Nationals need that CF'er but should spend less on it.

Some people have already thrown around LaRoche for the Orioles, but I'm actually fine with Reynolds at 1B. LaRoche will be too much I think, and there is no way the Orioles can put both in the same lineup with all those K's they will put up.

The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Would like your thoughts on Johnson, if you don't mind. I don't have an ulterior motive to this, just interested in what you see.

He doesn't like closers who don't strike guys out.

I think he isn't gonna sniff the number of saves he had this year. Unless you're a freak like Mo, closers are hella inconsistent year to year.
