Two World Series in three years bud, speaks volumes as to how the organization is run.

Not all of this is on the front office either. Like I said, the contract is sound IMO. But when it comes to managing a big league roster I give Bochy a huge edge over Mattingly from what I've seen so far.
Stan Kasten was a GM for a really long time for this other team. I forget what team it was but I'm pretty sure they were really good.

They just find new guys.. Like I said earlier, they won last season without guys like Brian Wilson and Cody Ross who were heroes in 2010. Not to mention a marginalized Lincecum.

They find guys who can play over and over again. Once they prove me wrong I'll stop believing.

Okay I think I get your point. If you want to win the World Series you have to run your organization like a team who has won a lot of them.

What was that new Dodgers' nickname? ______ of the West?

Can I get Rick Pitino please to tell this kid that John Schuerholz isn't walking through that door?

Like I said, I like what the Dodgers have done on paper, but right now, they have to prove it on the field and prove they can get past the Giants. I'm actually trying to support your team in a sense, but stop being a pompous ass about your team. They're going to be good, and they'll likely win a championship. Just wait until that team gets on the field. I know all about being off-season champs as a Redskins fan, don't be an ass about it and wait until the team wins.

A couple of top 100 prospects is better then getting nothing at all for Greinke, right? Of all people, you should know that.

Now you're calling me names. It's just baseball dude, you don't need to get mad about it.

But seriously, get out of here with this "champs 'till they're beaten" nonsense. '11/'12 Mavs were reigning champs too.

You're the one that's mad. I would be too with the Giants in my division

I would name the top 100 prospects that turned out to be nothing here but I'm pretty sure this forum has a character limit...

But that's not a reason to NOT get them. If you can get a top prospect it's probably a good idea regardless of the success rate.

Did you really just pull an "I know you are but what am I?" comback? C'mon. How the hell could I be mad look at my goddamn team!

The Dodgers are fucking stacked and they're doing so without emptying out the minor league system. Dodgers only gave up two decent pieces in the Boston trade (De La Rosa and Webster). This team is built to last while the minor league system improves - which they've been doing domestically (I'm really pleased with the recent draft) and internationally (Yasiel Puig highlights a group that includes a whole bunch of other international players you've never heard of). They improved the rotation the best possible way they could've (without giving up young prospects or draft picks) and it looks like the team STILL has the ability to add pieces and get better.

No you're right, I'm really having a hard time over here.
