I wouldn't really tout Carl Crawford at the top of your lineup. Gonzalez was a 114 OPS+ guy last year. It's a good team for sure, but it's a better team on paper than I really think they are on the field.

Did you really just pull an "I know you are but what am I?" comback? C'mon. How the hell could I be mad look at my goddamn team!
Kershaw
Greinke
Billingsley (all reports on his injury have come back positively}
Ryu
Beckett
The best bullpen in the NL West, 2nd only in MLB to the Reds during '12.
Crawford
M.Ellis
Kemp
Gonzalez
Ramirez
Ethier
AJ.Ellis
Cruz (or whoever free agent 3B we pick up)
The Dodgers are fucking stacked and they're doing so without emptying out the minor league system. Dodgers only gave up two decent pieces in the Boston trade (De La Rosa and Webster). This team is built to last while the minor league system improves - which they've been doing domestically (I'm really pleased with the recent draft) and internationally (Yasiel Puig highlights a group that includes a whole bunch of other international players you've never heard of). They improved the rotation the best possible way they could've (without giving up young prospects or draft picks) and it looks like the team STILL has the ability to add pieces and get better.
No you're right, I'm really having a hard time over here.Comment

If the Angels played .500 baseball before was called up, they would've made the playoffs and no one would begin to question whether trading for Greinke was a poor decision. Blame Pujols.[REDACTED]Comment

It was a great decision at the time for the team, they were making a push and they gave up some guys for it. Not upset with that trade, it's not like some shitty team like the Royals trading a bunch of prospects for two years of an expensive...oh..oh wow.Comment

Nope, you're mad with the Giants in your division. Take your homer glasses off and realize you've got to pass them. Trust me, I've been here before, don't buy into the hype until the team performs like that on the field. I learned the hard way as a Redskins fan that money doesn't always equal success.
You must be thinner skinned than I am. Don't tell me how to be a sports fan.[REDACTED]Comment

I can tell by the fact you bring up the Dodgers in essentially every thread here that you are pretty thin skinned about it and now just overcompensating for it. Stop being a homer.Comment

Bourjos regressing back to being a zero at the dish didn't help matters much either.

Can I make a request that everyone that posts in the section quiet on the homer-ish before we turn into the god damn NFL section. We get it you love your team and your team does everything right but holy shit I think I hear enough about the Dodgers, Giants, Reds, Braves and Cardinals.Comment
