Mark Trumbo will be dominating a slow pitch softball league sometime in the near future.

A Braves fan on Facebook suggested trading McCann for Trumbo because "McCann is washed up, we should take this opportunity to get a young slugger for him."

I explained to him that Trumbo was born 23 months after McCann and is not exactly young. He proceeds to say "Well a hitter's peak is 27-32 so he's still pretty young."

I then go into explain that in addition to not being young, Trumbo is not particularly good either, aside from his one tool. I can't see any NL team actively acquiring that guy, he has little to no value for an NL club.

In September, Trumbo struck out 29 times and walked twice. Combine that with a .233 OBP. Yikes.
