I'm Italian, and if there was a team called the Greasy Wops with a stereotypical Italian gangster as the logo, not a single fuck would be given. In fact, i'd probably think it was funny and pretty cool, actually. I have a mortgage to pay, withering investments, a GF who wants to get married and have kids before her ovaries dry up, and plenty of other real world things to worry about, so Chief Wahoo or the Braves batting practice cap would be pretty far down the list of concerns if I were an indian.
