I can't remember the exact conclusion he came to, and I couldn't find it in any of my books, but Bill James did a study that found lineup quality has almost nothing to do with the probability of a no hitter.

I think the three most important factors were 1.) tired team 2.) that strikes out a lot 3.) playing on the road.

    The Astros check one box.

Duda and Buck with a pair of 2-run dingers against the Padres.

      Nice.

Gio be all like, Bam Bam ain't got shit on me
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Evan Gattis with a homerun in his major league debut. I feel so good for that guy. His story is one of the more interesting i've heard in a long time.

Oh my. Matt Harvey 2013 debut in the freezing cold:

                7 IP, 1 Hit, 2 walks, 10 K (and a pickoff)

67% of his 94 pitches went for strikes.

I hope the pitching stays strong in Washington because it's looking like runs will be hard to come by. If we can't muster offense against the Marlins god forbid what happens against a real baseball team.

The Yankees may play themselves out of playoff contention before any of their starters can even return. This team is turrible.

LaRoche usually takes the first two months off, but he'll be Ted Williams reincarnate once the weather warms up.

One displays for me the other doesn't. Odd, wonder if FG disabled hotlinking.

I'm more worried about Zimmerman and whether he's still affected by the injury from last year

if this doesn't show up for you guys (it does for me), then yeah, they're cutting down on hotlinks.
