There's Keith Hernandez on television and Bobby Valentine on WFAN detailing significant problems in Ike Davis' swing as he continues to struggle.

Mets fans now assume Ike is either arrogant and ignoring hitting coach Dave Hudgens or it's just Hudgens is a moron.

I'd put my money on Ike being stubborn. They could always move Duda there who is actually doing very well at the plate, but is basically the worst outfielder in baseball defensively.

Mets found a way to toss an 8 IP shutout (8 k's and zero walks) from Jeremy Hefner into a loss.

5 straight and twice in as many nights the bullpen couldn't hold a lead in Miami.

                Worst pen in the league.

No, this is the Cardinals' title every year during April and parts of May.

Last night, the Rockies intentionally walked Juan Uribe with two outs in order to face Hyun-Jin Ryu. Ryu worked a 7-pitch at-bat into an RBI single. Ryu now has 4 hits in 12 ABs this season, including a double.

Trumbo still isn't walking but he's off to another hot start. Makes me wonder if this is going to be the pattern for the rest of his career.

Not like it really matters though when the pitching staff can't hold anyone under 7 runs, and the cleanup hitter has some of the worst offensive numbers on the team.

Valdespin with another PH HR to give them a lead.

Cardinals rotation now has a 2.11 ERA. Cincinnati is second with a 3.06 mark.

Reds have scored 17 runs in their last 9 games.

60 runs in 5 games where the offense exploded, 68 runs in the other 24 games
